Tragic Anime Backstory

Hello, world.

I’m from the great wonderful city of Houston, Texas in the beautiful and horrible United States of America. I’m a weeb that used to be involved in the fashion side of the anime con circuit back in Texas, but now I’m just a happy humble weeb trying to live a true to myself as I can. I’m pretty sure I have some untreated sometimes crippling anxiety, but I’m trying to work past that and not let it slow me down. My likes are Daiya no A, Daiya no A, and Daiya no A. I really like Daiya no A, please watch Daiya no A. My hobbies are, A, eating anime food, B, reading fanfiction, and C, trying to figure out how to make the world and my beautiful country a better place for all people. My dreams are to make anime food, travel back in time to be interviewed by Jon Stewart on the Daily Show and Stephan Colbert on the Colbert Report, become a professor of History at a small private liberal arts college, and to figure out a way I can personally affect the world for it to become a better place.

I currently live in northern Tochigi, Japan. It’s a large small town located at the end of the JR Utsunomiya Line and the beginning of the JR Tohoku Line. This will be a chronology of my travels, and most likely a few guides to help people interested in doing weeby things in Japan. I *kind of* speak Japanese, but I’m absolute shit at reading it, so I’ve been trying to practice it and some of that might show up here too. I apologize if I mistranslate anything; I’m just trying to do my best and be helpful to my weeb brethren. Please watch Daiya no A.

While I intend parts of this blog to be helpful to others, I actually am writing it for as a kind of therapy for myself. I find that since I live alone and don’t have many friends out where I live, I don’t have much motivation to live my life to its fullest and I’m hoping that having a blog will be a cheap way to do that because I’m broke. The way that I like to put it is that “This is a monologue, not a dialogue.” While comments are cool and all, this is really just a personal outlet for me to keep me motivated. I hope it works. Also please watch Daiya no A.
